I did my Bachelor’s degree in Botany (Honours) from Hans Raj college and masters in the field of Environmental Biology from University of Delhi. I joined Defence Research and Development organization (DRDO) in Dec 2004 and worked for approx. 10 years in different projects pertaining to Enhancement of human performance at difficult terrains such as high altitude, genetic adaptability and susceptibility to various high altitude maladies such as AMS, HAPE, VTE etc, search of novel biomarkers, Genetic and transcriptomic profiling of different ethnic groups in Indian soldiers etc, study of performance related genes and polymorphisms in renin-angiotensin aldosterone system (RAAS). I completed my doctorate degree from University of Delhi in the year 2013 wherein I worked on genetic signatures of High altitude stress. Presently teaching M.Tech classes in School of Biotechnology at Gautam Budhh University as Assistant Professor.
