Dr. Mehdi Razavi is Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Biomaterials at Brunel University London. Prior to this appointment he joined School of Materials Science and Engineering, Helmerich Advanced Technology Research Center (HRC), at Oklahoma State University as Research Scholar in Biomaterials from 2013 to 2014. He holds a PhD in Biomaterials from Isfahan University of Technology-Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2014, MS in Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in 2010 and BS in Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology in 2008. Dr. Razavi’s work is at the interface of Biotechnology and Materials Science. A major focus is the study and development of Biomaterials for research applications in various fields such as Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, and Trauma Locking Plating Systems. He is passionate about translating the academic research to clinical practice with current biotechnologies contributing to health innovations. He also serves as the author, reviewer, chief editor and member of editorial boards of numerous recognized international journals, Books and Funding agencies.
