Under nutrition is due to inadequate nutrition resulting in lack of food due to not eating enough food containing substances necessary for growth and health or failure of the body to absorb or assimilate nutrients properly. Over nutrition is also known as hyperalimentation and it is a form of malnutrition in which intake of nutrients is over supplied. The amount of nutrients exceeds the amount required for normal growth, development and metabolism.
