Current Research in Cancer (Cur Res Cancer; CRC) is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal interested in attracting high-quality original research and reviews that present or highlight significant advances in all areas of cancer and related biomedical science. The Journal is concerned with basic, translational and clinical research, enhancing insight in understanding, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.


This Journal covers papers at the molecular, subcellular, cellular, organ, clinical proof-of-concept and translational studies. Topics of interest include, novel basic cancer research discoveries, cell and tumor biology, animal models, metastasis, cancer antigens, immune response; including cellular signaling, molecular biology, genetic, molecular profiling of cancer, molecular targets, cancer stem cells, cell-cycle regulation, cell death, chromatin regulation, DNA damage and repair, gene and RNA regulation, genomics, oncogenes, tumor suppressors, virology, vaccine- and antibody-based cancer therapies, epidemiology, and other cancer-related research.


This Journal will provide an important forum for exchange of ideas, concepts and findings in any area of cancer and related biomedical science. The online appearance of this Journal allows the immediate publication of accepted articles and the presentation of large amounts of data and supplemental information to ensure that new research is disseminated as efficiently and quickly as possible to the scientific community.


Manuscripts may be submitted as Original Articles, Rapid and Short Communications, or Reviews, Mini-review, Case Reports, Opinion, Letters to the Editor and Editorials.
